I'm now able to help purchase items from Melonbooks.
Due to year end events and personal commitments, I'll be very busy from end November until mid-December.
From 25 November to 12 December 2016, please expect slower email replies and processing of orders and shipments. I will try to check my email every day, but on some days, I have a full day event and will not have time to access my email at all. I will do my best to ensure that all orders and queries are being dealt with within 5 working days.
If you have an urgent order, meaning for example, a preorder that is ending the next day or something that is selling out, please specify so I can tend to that first. Nevertheless, I cannot promise that I am able to look at your order in time, so please refrain from last minute requests if possible.
I apologise for the inconvenience!
September is a hectic month for me as I'm helping my best friend with her wedding and I'm moving house.
During the following periods, I may not have time to access my email:
- 8 to 11 September
- 17 to 24 September
On other days of the month, due to possible backlog, it may take longer than usual for me to respond to emails. A delay of up to 5 days might be expected. But I am accepting orders and arranging shipments as per usual.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your understanding!
Hi all, my website is in the middle of a domain transfer, which usually takes about 24 to 48 hours to take effect worldwide. In the meantime, there may be some downtime on my website and email address.
My website and email were offline for a couple of hours on 12 April from 12.30 pm to 2pm (+8 GMT). Everything seems to be working well on my end now. But just in case you sent me an email between 12 - 14 April but don't get a response within 2 days, please feel free to email me again after 14 April. Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience!
In light of upcoming Chinese New Year holidays, many sellers and couriers have already ceased their services, and provision of purchasing and shipping services will be affected. It is a major holiday in China and Taiwan, so please take note of the following possible disruptions:
Taobao / China shopping services:
1) Limited processing of new orders from 31 January to 13 February. If you have an item / some items that are urgent, selling out or have an order deadline, please inform me and I'll purchase it first. Please assume that any other non-urgent orders that you submit during this period will only be purchased from 13 Feb onwards.
2) Cessation of shipping services: 4 Feb to 14 Feb
3) Cessation of customer service from my logistics partner: 6 Feb to 13 Feb (If you have any questions / problems, I'll still be answering emails, but if I don't have the answers, I'll only be able to get them after 13 Feb)
Japan shopping service
(Although CNY is not celebrated in Japan, the people who run the logistics service are Chinese)
No processing of orders and shipments from 7 Feb to 13 Feb. I'll still be answering emails.
Taiwan shopping service
No notice yet. Until I have more information, please assume that there will be limited service from 1 Feb to 13 Feb.
Public holidays in my country are 8 and 9 Feb. 6 and 7 Feb is a weekend. Hence, from 6 to 9 Feb, I may not be able to get back to you as it will be a very hectic period for me as well.
Thanks for your kind understanding, and for everyone who celebrates this holiday, have a good one!
I'm doing a pick-up service for CWT41. The deadline of order submission is 8 December, and payment deadline is 9 December, Singapore time.
Apologies for the late notice!
Please find all relevant information for event pick-up here.
China's National Day falls on 1 October, and this will cause disruptions to postal services and store operating hours on the last week of September and first week of October. Made-to-order items with a production timeline that stretches over that period will take longer than usual to complete.
If you require your items in October, please place your order as soon as possible.
Dear all, with regards to storage period for purchases via Taobao / any China website, non-perishable items can be stored for free for up to 3 months (90 days) from the time your purchase arrives at the warehouse.
After that, each item will be subject to a 0.10 SGD storage charge per item per day. The maximum storage time is 6 months (180 days), after which, your purchases may be disposed of if shipping arrangements are not made.
For customers who already have purchases in the warehouse for some time, I will remind you when there is 1 month left to the end of the free storage period so you will have time to make the shipping arrangements.
Thanks and sorry for any inconvenience caused!
I'm on hiatus from 27 July to 5 August
During these period, I am not able to process any new orders, shipments or reply to emails. To ensure that your order / shipment gets processed before my hiatus period, your payment must be sent by no later than 25 July.
Take note that it may take me a little longer than usual to process emails after I return from hiatus. Sorry for the inconvenience!
CWT40 - Deadline of order submission is 4 August
Although I state that my hiatus is until 5 August, I am making an exception for CWT40. Order must be in by 4 August, and then please be ready to make payment by 5 August, Singapore time.
Please find all relevant information for event pick-up here.
It will be a pretty hectic period for me though, so if possible, please do consider mail order, which many circles going for CWT40 will most likely offer after the event.
Order forms updated
Finally, I have made some minor updates to my order forms, as a customer has kindly informed me that the Terms and Conditions link on the forms are outdated. I've also edited the format a little for the Taiwan and Japanese shopping service forms. Please try to use the new forms when placing a new order. Thanks!
My website update is complete! As you can see, it has a spanking new layout. I have also edited all the write-ups for each service in hopes of making them more informative yet easy to understand. If you notice any problems or have unanswered questions, please let me know.
A couple of important updates:
Taobao shopping service - The photo-taking service is not available for an indefinite period.
I no longer offer Taobao shopping services for people based in Singapore. Please use this instead. If you're an old customer who wants to continue using my service, you may continue to do so. Just contact me by the usual methods.
Taiwan shopping service - Event pick-up service is unavailable in June & July due to my contact moving house. If you absolutely need one, please contact me in advance so I can someone else to go.
Translation service - Minimum payment reduced to 10 SGD in light of very thin doujinshi.
Will consider translating fanfics
Will translate content that is not doujinshi-related.
That should be about all. Thanks!
