28 July Update: My proxy managed to find a payment platform involving less service fees so the currency rates will revert to before (1 SGD: 18 Taiwan dollars)
The minimum order amount to avoid incurring handling charge remains at 250 Taiwan dollars. This revision applies from 1 August onwards and will not affect customers with open orders.
24 July: Please note that from 1 August 2017 onwards, the currency exchange rate used for calculations will be revised from 1 SGD : 18 Taiwan dollars to 1 SGD : 16 Taiwan dollars. This is because my proxy in Taiwan has had to revise their service fees due to increasing Paypal fees.
Additionally, if a minimum order of 250 NT (previously 150 NT) including domestic postage is not attained, there will be a 50NT handling fee charge.
These changes will not affect customers who have an open order with me.
Thanks for your understanding!
Please note that the warehouse for Taobao / China purchases has a new policy.
Purchases that arrive from 1 June onward will enjoy a free storage period of 30 days. After that, there is a 0.10 SGD storage charge per item per day and the maximum storage period is 60 days. Notifications will be sent to you as the last day for the free storage period gets nearer. Please stay in touch and remember to check your email regularly so you won't miss the notification.
Purchases that arrive before 1 June will abide by the previous policy of free storage for up to 60 days, with an additional 30 days paid extension allowed.
I'm going on a hiatus in April due to my vacation in Tokyo. Please take note of my schedule in April:
1 April to 5 April: Business as usual.
6 April to 10 April: No processing of new orders. Only processing of shipments.
11 April to 25 April: Unavailable
26 April to 31 April: Business resumes, but expect a backlog. I'll prioritise shipments and new orders in the order that they are submitted.
For those who have 2nd payments due in April, I'll try to get them cleared before my trip. Otherwise, I'll work it out with the respective sellers, so don't worry.
If you wish to purchase something from Tokyo, I might be able to help, but it really depends on whether it's convenient for me. I can only buy it if it's available at places I am visiting. I will be going to Tokyo Disneysea and can definitely buy Disneysea items as long as they are available in the Disneysea gift stores. I will be doing some shopping for beauty products at the drug stores as well as anime stuff in Ikebukuro, so I might be able to help with those. Items will be shipped from Singapore to you after I come back from my vacation. Feel free to contact me if you're interested!
I am now able to purchase from the popular wholesale website Alibaba - 1688.com !
You can find common mass-produced items on this website for significantly cheaper prices. This is a great choice if you're purchasing multiples of the same item for a group of people or for your business.
Let's take this bag for example.
If you purchase 3 to 19 pieces of this, it is 10rmb each. That's only about 3 SGD, or 2 USD inclusive of fees.
20-19999 pieces and it is 9.50 each.
Any more and it's 8rmb each.
Many Taobao sellers get their supplies from Alibaba too. So the only it difference it makes between getting your purchases from Taobao vs Alibaba is that Alibaba is cheaper because you're making your shopping route more direct. And that means more savings!
Order form and methods are the same as ordering through Taobao. You can order from both platforms and have all your purchases consolidated too.
With regards to my Taobao/China shopping service, from 24 January to 4 February, the warehouse and logistics team I work with is on break, so I am unable to place any orders or process any shipments during this period.
You are still welcome to send your orders, but there's not much I can do aside from receiving payment from you. The sellers may not be able to check their stock so I wouldn't recommend ordering during this time.
Exception: It is highly unlikely that sellers will release any limited order period item during Chinese New Year, but if there are any such orders, I can place the order using my own account.
Please be reminded that made to order items (e.g. cosplay, lolita) will take a longer time than usual to complete because the factories will be closed for the holidays. If you place your order now, unless the seller otherwise states, expect your purchase to only be ready in mid/late February or even March.
No news from my Taiwan deputy yet, but the holiday period is likely to be similar. The Japanese shopping service is business as usual.
During this period, I will be busy with Chinese New Year stuff as well, so expect slower replies.
Thanks for your understanding and happy CNY to those who celebrate it!
Chinese New Year is in end January, but many Chinese will take leave or go on holiday by as early as mid January to make their way back home. On top of that, many services will be affected during the Chinese New Year, such as the domestic and international postal services.
Please note that I may also have to temporarily cease my shopping service nearer to and during the holidays if the warehouse and warehouse staff are on holiday. I will provide more specific details on the official rest days as soon as I have them.

Dear all, I apologise but in view of the holiday season, I've been unexpectedly busy and may take slightly longer than usual to respond (about up to 5 working days). This slowness will possibly last until the first week of the new year.
I will also close my doujinshi translation service for awhile because I'm getting more requests than I can handle.
I appreciate your patience and understanding, and I wish everyone a great year ahead!
